Just thought I would post a couple of pictures of the 1100 seat on my 14 abs .
Tried to get some side shots to show if there was more thickness to the seat but I cant really tell .[/ATTACH]IMG_0613.jpgIMG_0614.jpgIMG_0615.jpgIMG_0616.jpgIMG_0617.jpg
Its a straight swap , the pattern on the seat is slightly different but I don't really care about that ....... it is comfy though !!!
£60 + vat was the cost
Just thought it might help someone on here if they were thinking of doing it !!!!

Is it lower shotgun?

No , my *** tells me its slightly higher than the old one , good news for me old knees but not for my wrists !!!! Very little in it .
Will know when I get her out at the weekend .

Whoo Hoo, means my seat must be on the water. Aprilia weren't due to have stock till early Aug. Ordered weeks ago.

New seat fitted....Seat of the pants feel, says it's a bit higher but you don't slide around. Have a 800K ride Wed and Thurs so will pack both seats and do a b 2 b bum test comparison.

Well....I rode up 400k's (250 miles) with the new seat on my 2014 and did experience a bit of minor arse burn with being unable to slide around much. I swapped the original seat back on to ride home and lasted about 70 k's. Pulled up at a road stop and swapped the 1100 seat back on. The new seat is good. The old seat is now consigned to the back of the cupboard. As an aside, the traffic was heavy with lots of roadworks and I could only really sit on the legal speed limits averaging around 80 to 110 kph. Fuel by the dash was just under 6L (5.7) per 100k's, which I was surprised at seeing my first tank lasted only to 170K's (105miles) before the light came on and the second tank did only 201k's. The trip must have loosened it all up a bit as I could probably get 240k's from a tank if taking it easy. The map setting had no impact on usage at these speeds either. Definitely a good purchase.

I agree with you Beagle .
Did 200 miles on the new seat on Saturday , far more grip but is more comfy on my *** !!!
