Its the gen 2 , 53 onwards when you can lose the mileage . Its just a case of setting basics like clock and kph to mph etc after you disconnect the battery .

:devious . Yeah you need a degree in computers to sort those bloody buttons out , remember though even with a handbook , blokes dont do instructions lol . cost me 30 squid for a genuine aprilia workshop book , was worth it although its pre 2000 , first chance lonner , I'd get the handbook if you can .

well done the charging mod today and its got a new motobatt battery and no starty as the battery is not spinning it up fast enough:roll

the new battery is only showing 12.5v so think it may be a dud or it could be welcome to italian bike hassle:devious

I might well be interested in that if you still have it, and the price is right of course! pm me if you want rid, Fogg.

Well i still ride my storm every day .first thing i noticed was the weight the RSV is a hell of a lot lighter and the engine is a lot more free er revving than the storm but i think the storm has a bit more bottom end ,ridding position is a lot better than a standard storm i was expecting it to be uncomfortable but its not for a sports bike .the millie has more power and is lighter so it goes a bit faster , handles better but i tell you that the storm is a bloody good bike and the engine in it is great had mine 5 years and love the engine it just the rest of itis a bit old hat now . ( 9 out of ten for the rsv 7.5 for the storm

my old firestorm NOT lol

loved this but it killed me and had to get shut before the osteopath bankrupt me
