Got Hooked at Griff's!

Spent the day in Fazely watching the GriffMeister fettle my Mille.

Was supposed to just get an oil leak fixed but was tempted by an array of extras in the workshop and came out with a Hooked airbox, and....

F*ck me is it awesome!!! Came back (to Oxford) via the Fosse Way and the A429 ragging the arse off it just to hear the induction roar! Talk about addictive. I reckon my licence will last a month! Saw off a pimp in a black Murcielago who tried to make lots of noise with his V10/V12? in 3rd but he was utterly drowned out by the roar of the Hooked and the V60 thru' the Mivv!!! It has even improved my fuel consumtion by 10%! Seriously fellas, if you haven't done it already consider it £125 well spent. Especially on top of a 15T GB sprocket! I'm nothing to do with Hooked or Aprilia Performance, just a happy punter of both of them.

The Griffer was on top form and I met Zed who now reckons she's a Cougar! Conversation covered nuclear weapons, immigration policy and crap 80s bands!

Can't say enough about Aprilia Performance, except that he deserves to corner the Aprilia servicing market in the UK, and through this forum and word of mouth he's nearly achieving it:

Cam cover oil leak fixed, rear suspension needle bearings lubed and replaced 2 supplied by me (lowest ones, welded into the link!), valve clearances checked while covers off, airbox kit fitted, chain adjusted, all for £255, and that includes the Hooked kit (Pipercross filters, etc)

Griff - thanks again mate. I'll pick up the old airbox at a later date. I'll try and sort a suspension day here with the Benson bike club in April when I'm home again.
