Take one bright orange tri colour aprilia with head light on, one set of traffic lights and one dumb arse 7.5 ton lorry driver who has realised he has missed his turning :jack. Pull up at least one cars lenght behind him, then look in HORROR as his reverse lights come on :eek: and he reverses at warp speed into you, sending you through the air and onto your back into the path of on coming cars on the otherside of the road, making you spend the next 6hrs in minor injuries waiting to be checked out. :puke

there is some right fcuking pricks out there what is it with people reversing and hitting Aprilia's what with you now pstormer and little1uk a little while ago anyway hope your ok no serious injuries

No serious injuries only a massive hole in my life were my mille used to be :roll. Hopefully the guy has done the right thing when interviewed by the police and told them he is a **** wit and he reversed into me. This is my only concern as there were no witnesses :dunno.
 
Glad YOU'RE ok!! As you say, lets hope the prick doesn't claim you ran into the back of him. I know it wouldn't help my state of mind too much but a bike can be mended, there's only 1 of you.

Sounds a bit lame but I hope you have a good Xmas and that you get you bike back quickly, paid for by him.

Only problem is the wife is saying the same (only one of me) and is strongly hinting at me not riding again :mad1. Looks like i`ll have to learn to cook and clean when she`s gone :devious
 
Mate, sorry to see ya go thro this, had this **** happen to me a little while back, denied all knowledge of it, my insurance company said i didnt have a leg to stand on, all pointed to me runnin into the back of her, i told em to fcuk em selves and see the bike and it was obvious to a blind man (no offense to blind men or ladies)that the bike had been pushed backwards along the road, only havin 6 forward gears made it tricky for me to do that my self, baisically didnt wanna know, never give up hope tho mate cause like a bolt from the blue her company insurance rang and and gave me a cash settlement, think i know why :devious:devious ill pm ya that info :thumbup:thumbup keep ya chin up mate
 
remember mate a bike can be replaced you can't! live to ride again ! happened to me years ago on my zxr750 lucky he was a honest bloke!
there are some tossers out there. hopefully you will be back on the road soon:thumbup
also happened on this mille i have now it was red but thanks to some women driver with no brake lights i did a stoppie into here but was my fault? could never understand that one? good things came out of it persuaded the missus to get a spray job which was cheaper than the aprilia parts i needed so you never know?
 
Read your plight little1uk when i first joined the forum and was pissed off and wanted to go and crap through her letter box. Never thought it would happen to me. First road bike accident in 22yrs. Not read ya pm yet (gonna do that now) cheers mate. Hope i can get a pukka paint job out of it like yours rs3 mille

I feel for ya fella, some prat reversed into my bike last week and oh boy i so wanted to kick the crap out of them,only problam was it was me dad, but he has paid up and after today it just needs a little bit of paint and she's back to normal again. Good luck with the claim though mate.....:thumbup
 
woah, as long as the problem can be solved through money is that it was not serius though it appears that it could have really been... The best of all is that you're okay mate!.

I wouldn't hold your breathe on that mate if there's no witnesses he'll probably blame you. Just glad your ok it could have been much worse :thumbup

Hmm yes, but he is starting to look tight in those leathers:dunno unless he is trying to get into the xmas spirit. Looks like he will not need any padding to fit into that red suit:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

As the others have said and pointed out "there is only one you". Yes there is some road rash to take care of, :pirate but maybe you can work that for some extra sympathy treatment from the missus.:devious:devious

Here's hoping for the best from the lorry driver and you can pick out something new to replace the old girl. :thumbup:thumbup (The RSV that is)
 
Gutted for you mate - good to see you have photos which if I'm not mistaken don't show a strip of rubber where you panic braked into the back of this f**king helmet cleaner.... And theres no imprint of you in the back of the lorry either. Should have been a detective...

And I think you'll find the damage to the front wheel and forks will be markedly different to the standard 'pulled a stoppie' but still crashed accident.

There are more honest folk out there than you may think, fingers crossed that the moron fesses.Hope ur back on the road ASAP - don't let 1 off on 22 years put you off!
