Hi guys,

anyone got any recommendations for winter gloves that work well on the t?

i've managed with summer gloves until now as my riding was infrequent and i've always had a fairing to hide behind, but while the tuono is quite friendly in most things after an early morning trek into London the other day, my hands were clawed for 15 minutes.

I tend to like gloves with lots of manouverability and feel through them....which i know usually reduces warmth, but thought i'd ask what you guys are using.

my summer gloves are spada predator , which fit me perfectly ( getting good gloves to fit properly are a problem for me " short fingers " ) and my winter ones are rst wp something ??? they are a couple of years old and are no longer available but work very well unless in monsoon type rain ( as found on long french motorway jaunts ) , very warm tho . leather and cordura mix .
would deffo buy another pair !! ps . a pair of mechanics latex gloves keep yer mitts warm too in extremes , some times this is preferable to the thicker winter gloves !!

I also have the Spada Predator summer gloves, and have these for winter/spring/autumn. Very comfy, not too bulky but because of that they aren't the warmest you can get.
 
thanks guys - will try and find somewhere that stocks the spada's.

my summer gloves are alpinestars which don't fit well but make me feel very safe :) and richa gp's (which fit well, but feel a bit like my hands are gonna get detached if i have an off)

They say those reisse heated inner gloves are the dogs bollocks. Not tried them myself , but spoken to a few that have , with good reports. :dunno
 
heh! i appear to have created a monster....i think i can also be classed as an old fart.

went to lots of bike shops trying to find what i wanted, ended up with keis heated inner gloves and vest(!) with a controller on a special deal for 120.00.

Yeah i know, gone are the days of riding in the snow in a t-shirt...but...mmmmmmmmmmmm, so toasty, and can feel fingers again :)

of course that is just sitting in the living room, hopefully they'll be as good on the 't' :)

I bought my Mrs a pair of heated inner gloves, they are really good and they keep your whole hand warm, not just the palms.
The ones I bought were Keis, as already said above, toasty.:thumbup
 
this heated malarky is great....i haven't felt this warm since >25 years ago before i broke ankles and wrists coming off the husqvarna on a frozen lake (metal pins are cold when its cold)

easy to fit, really impressed, as per the review above they warm the tops and sides of the fingers rather than the bottom of fingers and the pam (as the cheap heated gloves i've had previously did) meaning that you have warm manouverable fingers not sweaty palms (which is usually a bonus)

For me, the body warmer is less impressive, but i think thats because my body is never cold with the furygan gear (however it does work really well even though i bought the lowest spec one) its warm, but not over powering - might come into its own on the rides back from town in the dark. (I think maybe i paid for expensive cable management in reality though ;))
