giday fellas, i've done 2000 or so k's on Ms T since i last visited here, well what a girl, i softened the front a tad and have been exploring the aprilia way of doing things, i must say i'm impressed, well ****'n impressed actually.
i've never struck the metzler rennsports before but they seem ok, any way summer is nearly here :cheers

Not Racetecs ? They stopped making Rennsports in 2005-2006

I've got rennsports on at the mo' but they are about shot, will be putting roadsmarts on next, had them on my 636 before - cracking tyre.
Summer eh? Its bloody pissing down here now
 
there rennsports, Ms T is an 07 model, i checked the build date on the rear tire 07 as well, they are the original tires

hiya my 07 had rennsports on and it done 2500 miles on the rear tyre . and ive just put a new one on so you can still get them :thumbup im happy with them in the dry ( just gonna nip in my garage to see how old it is now ? ) phew it shows 2109 so i think they are still makin um ? tho i to had been told you cannot get them anymore from one tyre place ? :dunno

It seems Rennesports were OEM for the Oz market. I really liked mine. Racetecs are the replacement Metzlers for them.

Glad to see you're enjoying your Tuono mate. Just don't talk too loud when mentioning the fact we ride all year 'round in this country - Godzone country, that is.
 
Welcome and congrats on a happy Marriage of lust and motorcycle. Dunlops on mine for OEM in Canada, but also saw Metzelers at the dealer. Ate through several sets of Pirellis, now on Pilot 2s and love the cold and wet traction, and did two trackdays on them. Still good for part of next season too. Enjoy the bike and the site. Winter looming here...
