OK my bike is an 07 Tuono 6k on the clock.
Suspension is standard (for now) was slow to turn into corners and crap at holding a line, so have dropped the forks through the yokes so there are 3 bars showing above the yokes.
Front preload is 4 rings showing.
Not altered rear preload so presume its stock and had put all settings back to stock when I got it.
Im about 14.5 stone with all my gear on.
Went to Cadders today to see if Colin was about here is the before (when I took it in) and after settings (what he put them too)
FRONT
Sag Before 26 After 26
Comp Before 1 after 1/2 (turns from fully in)
Rebound Before 1 1/2 After 1/2 (turns from fully in)
REAR
Sag Before 7 after 7
Rebound Before 15 after 13 (clicks from fully in)
Comp N/A
One of the instuctors had a Tuono, he quickly junked the Sachs unit for an Ohlins rear and then an ohlins front end (should have got a factory haha ) Colin said they were pretty gash but we all knew that anyway.
Weight and riding should not be much of an issue so worth trying these settings.
Still not perfect for me from what im used to, but a vast improvement (holds a line much better), hopefully some tyres im used to and a bit more getting used to the bike, I ride quite bumpy roads and need something better to smooth it all out.
Hope thats of help.
