I have gen 2 clock with a cracked screen up for grabs.Apart from needing a new screen, I think they actually work, I bought them a few months back for the to salvage the screen only. Me is feeling charitable, yours for free if you pay for p&p. Or pick up from SW london
 
sad thing is ... I too have a gen 2 with a cracked clock screen!

Often ponder taking it apart and having a local company make me a new one ... but scared I feck it up!
 
welly a thought yer were an engineer, get yersel a small piece of Lexan or a welding mask front screen and do it yersel.

A think that off yer had rattled yer napper more than yer lettin on. :rolleyes
 
Or get damaged clocks from ebay and switch the screen over, There is walk through on this on this forum on how to clear the fogging issue. That involves removing the screen. Its a piece of piss, even I was able to do it!
 
Check out the Tuono 50/125's... they use the same size plastic lens...and they are as cheap as chips on fleabay

did you manage to find a supplier of gore-tex
i have put the holes in the back of clock and they have been ok but they are open to moisture and insects now

I got a lot of info from Tifa, I'll try and dig it out and pm you it.
 
I just drilled mine following Tifa advise on location and left it at that ,still fogg's a bit but clears quicker
