gen 2 2008 clutch drag the old neutral problem ,you know the one lol

hi guys ,has anyone got pics of the jet mod that needs doing ? .ive played around with the clutch lever but not much help there , also been told the 08 model comes with the mod already done ?? if this is true then why the hell have i got the problem then

. my old gen 1 clutch is perfect without fault so i take it its been done before

. i really want to sort this problem on my gen 2 before i go crazy . also feel the aprilia perfomance rear sets need adjusted for my riding position . any pics would be great if any of you have taken any when youve done the mod before would be good to see them . cheers guys

hi ya mate the 08 model has mod comes standard just got a new clutch slave of ebay after market one seems to have cured my clutch prob

Biff, 08 deffo has the correct jet fitted, have you tried changing the fluid (DOT4) and making sure the slave and lever is well bled. make sure you loosen/remove parts so the bleed point is at the very top to catch any air bubbles inside the parts.

hi skull and zubes ,i haave bled the cloot till im blue in the arse no air 100% none ,played with both adjusters on the lever, clutch feels good ,just wont clear neutral and a fair wee clunk going into 1st .the bikes done around 5000 miles now im going to try oil change and another bleed and again play with the lever if that dont fix it i will replace the plates in the cloot .could well be the plates are ****** could have been slipped to death with the last owner as he was a very big bloke and i mean big .will keep yah posted once ive been playing around with it
