Only ride on the track, riding on the road only teaches you to go slower. You come on a forum looking for help & all you get is a tosser with 33 years road riding experience giving you crap. Take your panniers & Baglux & put them on a BMW where they belong. To the rest of you gents thanks for your input
See you at Cadwell, Mallory or Oulton Park in Sept, I will be the one on the Tuono Factory

ffs yer may as well have fluffy ears stuck on yer lid.
What the fook does anyone need with a gear indicator?I've never needed one in 33 years of road riding. To me they are a waste of money and a distraction.
You should be able to feel what gear you need by revs, speed, engine note, etc.
This was KB,....in the Fens,....6.30pm,....grumpy old git.

Bloody hell, i read this and thought i had posted a question given the responses !!
Stick in there T5ONO they will love you in the end, i had a bit of a difficult birth here but now they all love me, well sort of!! You have to admit though some of the responses are pretty clever and funny ? Thats what made me stick around.
As for gear position indicator i had one on a bike once and found it distracting as i kept looking at it !! Surely a big twin like the T is much easier to ride on engine speed as its so evident compared to a IL4. Surely on a track you want to be looking where your going, at one man and machine not thinking lets just check what gear im in?
As for the neutral indicator thats easy to know lots of revs no action !!
