Function switch

Has anybody had problems with the function switch mine won't cancel millage so I suppose it won't do any thing else aether. It is removable but sealed I've tried a bit of WD but no joy I'm a bit worried it's not the switch send but the instrument electronics not receiving, thought I'd ask in case it's happened before but can't say I've seen it posted.

had the same problem mate and it also affected my indicators it was a cable shorting under the tank, just by the headstock where the clamp is :thumbdown

took me ages to find and seconds to fix :yes

Cheers mate I'll get searching and hope it's fairly easy to find at least I have the heads up on it, I did wonder if it could be the connecting socket needing cleaning. was the damage to the sleeve how you found it or did you have to cut the sleeve to find it?

you can see the sleeve was damaged but i had to cut it to do the repair

Mine turned out to be the switch now looking for a new/second hand one.
