Full beam not coming on

Hi chaps,

Just been trying to figure out why the full beam doesn't come on. Press the switch - Low beam goes out but Full doesn't come on, the blue full beam dash indicator light comes on (same for 'pass' button), so I assume the switch is fine. No blown fuses in the fuse box on the right side of cockpit. Bulbs themselves not blown.

What's going on, any ideas?

No mods have been done to the lighting system, it's a 2nd Gen '06 model.

Due an MOT, so need to fix it, please help.

Can you hear the relay click. That may have gone. Relays are under left panel on top of fairing. 2 held in place on rubber mount- swap them over and see if your full beam work and dips don't. That will at least check that for you

It does make a click noise. I will check it though, thanks.

Switch........bulb.......relay........fuse......connector.......not a lot to check

Nice one Alfaslave! :thumbup I switched (pun not intended) the relays and the Full beam came on but not the Low. So I guess that means one of the relays is shot? Anyone a suggestion on best place to purchase a replacement?

Glad you got to it, cheap fix, any bike shop or car parts shop will have one!

Replaced the dud relay and the lights (Hi/Low) work as they should again. Thanks for the help.
