Fueling issue and or how to check for vac leak?

Bike is an 03 RSV with EVo airkit rsv ti can and gabro chip with 5deg ignition advance. I ride it everyday as my short commute

In the last few days the bike seems very easy to flood when starting. If its not started on the first few cranks i leave it for a few seconds then try again if it doesn't start the second time it will not start and seems like its flooded after a total cranking time of maybe 10 seconds.

On the few occasions this has happened i have left it for a few hours and then tried it again and it starts but one of those times it needed a good dose of throttle.

I had it set up and the ega before christmas and it has been running great, it feels like maybe the tps has slipped a bit or there is maybe a small vac leak, what is the simplest way to test for a vac leak? Many thanks

whenever we had a suspected vac leak, we used to fire the engine up, and with it on tickover, spray all around the fuel system with wd40, its harmless to the system, but if the engine note changes, in a particular place, then you have found where it is,

Hope this helps.

yea battery is a good, always optimated bosch uprated one and yam starter solenoid so it cranks great, any ideas on what other options may make the bike seeming like its easy to flood? i also yesterday heard a pop or two on the over run and it normally doesn't do that

I don't know how the ecu gets its crank position, but it sounds like either a sensor has malfunctioned or a ignition pick up has either moved/slipped or is faulty.

Sure someone who knows these apes ignition systems will know more, and what the correct settings are.

Good luck
