fuel Seal

Hi guys, I picked up my son from school tonight and noticed a smell of fuel coming from the bike. Upon inspection i found vapours coming from the filler cap (metal tank). The vent holes are clear it literally is coming from the outer ring with the allen bolts going through. Anyone know where to get a new seal or will a bit of mastic/silicone do the trick. Cheers guys, im off to a bike meet at Ludgershall near Aylesbury tonight and hoping to see some ape's.
