Hi everybody,
I was out for a ride on Sunday, and as I went to overtake, the backend stepped out big time! I managed to catch it and nervously thought to myself 'that was cool'. For the next mile the backend is slipping about like I have a soft back tyre. I pull over and manage to just stop without going down; the back tyre is fine but there is a stink of fuel and smoke is coming off the engine!
To cut a long story short, I look in on the left hand side of the tank and notice that a clear fuel line quick release coupling has come undone and must have been pissing fuel all over the back tyre! I clicked it back together and all seemed secure enough, so I nervously made my way home.
Has anybody else had this problem before? Should I replace the pipe/ coupling? Any ideas?
Thanks
