Heya guys,
Went out for a blast today, all was fine until my fuel light came on. It was only coming on intermittantly so I figured next fuel station i'll fill up. Now normally I don't have any strange effects happen when the fuel light first pops on and off, however this time I noticed the bike was not happy and every now and again would 'stutter' as if was on the last dregs of fuel. Sometimes the power would be there other times seemingly non existant. It didn't just happen whilst I was cranked over either, running through traffic, on long straights. I was starting to get worried but as soon as i filled her up the problems disappeared entirely. Do aprilia have a system in place where it restricts the flow of fuel in order to conserve it for longer or is it just a case that my fuel light should be staying on instead of messing me about by popping off and on as it pleases?
