Hi all, Anyone ever used this company before, think they`re based up in Cumbria somewhere. If so, how do you rate their slip ons (all hand made apparently). I have a 08 RSVR and just wondering whether I need to get the Map changed if I just go with a straight swop from standard to aftermarket end can ? Apologies if I`m being a bit dim but its the first RSV I`ve owned (picked her up yesterday - will post picks when I get a sec) Cheers, Paul

Mine came with a Fuel exhaust, seems alright but nothing on an akra, but good value for money none the less.

i've got a fuel can on my 02 mille. no need to remap, piece of piss to fit, sound as owt youth...http://www.rsvzone.com/forums/images/smilies/bigthumb.gif

I recently got a pair of fuel cans for my rsv and can say the build and finish quality is excellent. They claim if you are changing from standard to one of their cans, with the baffle in, then no remapping is required.

What downpipes are those strongbow, Falco headers?? Mine is the same as yours but with single can, it looks so much better with twin pipes..

It was a Harris race system, I had to replace the cans because the originals had been cut down very short and it was so loud it was asking for trouble.

Quite a few of my mates over on the SV Portal went with Fuel exhausts, they managed some sort of forum discount if I recall correctly.

I spoke to the Fuel Exhaust people at the NEC show a year or two back,it's a smallish family business I believe, everything hand made by the boss as it were. They have a good reputation for quality and service but I don't they are 'Performance' as in Acropovic or Yoshi.

Thanks for the posts guys - they seem pretty good then. I`m not really looking for performance gains the bike is electric anyway, just want something to replace the standard cans -they`re not really up to much imo.

Pdoney, you will need to get your 2008 RSVR switched over to map 2 and throttle bodies reset by an Aprilia dealer. It's only the older pre 03 bikes that don't require this when fitting open or race cans

It's all down to personal taste but i would go wth a second hand pair of mint Akrapovic or Arrow cans in either titanium or carbon for similar money to the new Fuel cans.

...or you could get some proper Aprillia Titanium ones...there's some on here for £230.LOL.LOL
