Guys, I have been looking at my front end and it appears to be out of alignment. This I checked by putting a straight peice of pipe through the front axil making sure it is sitting true. Then a straight edge on the top of the forks using the centre's as reference points. It appears to have about a 5 to 7 degree twist.
Question: what is the best way to sort this problem.
Loosen top clamp and twist, then retighten????
Open to sugestions.
History: I've had the bike for about two years and it was a repairable write off. The front wheel had a slight buckle which I had repaired. The disc's suffured from thick thin sindrome and was causing shudder , gone after machining. The bottom of the ohlins left fork had slight damage and I was able to file and buff out. There was other damage though not associated with the front end.
I've had the bike up to 245kmh on trackdays and it steers and handles fine.
I'd prefer to fix it myself or should I call in the pros.
Asking for info.
Cheers Steve:thumbup
