Waterproofs, spare keys / alarm blipper, driving licence and insurance etc..., small bumbag for spare change for french toll roads, puncture repair kit (the one with the little gas bottles), credit card

Did you get your luggage sorted?

Check that your UK bank card can be used at the service stations.
The Police are hot here at the moment for speeding so be careful. Dont forget to do a V sign upside down to passing riders!
If youe coming through Brittany stop by at my place.

id love to go to france on the bike, i like the empty twisty road u see them testing the bike in superbike. has any1 on here know the best places to go

did it last year too! and again in august :D
travel as light as you can, take extra bungies so if u feel like it strap them over the back.
to say thank you stick your leg out :)

I went last year for the first time - had a great time, even had to fit a new rear tyre while out there. You will be treated much better over there than here! Cars move over and hotels dont turn groups of bikers away.

You will love it, it was my first long trip as well and it was easy (ish, as they are bloody uncomfortable after a day in the saddle, but still great fun). Hope you have a great trip.

Cheers

Credit card, toothbrush, condoms. That's all you need:thumbup
(And don't listen to Tim, giving the V sign upside down means 'you're a ******, please stop and beat me up at the next petrol station').

PS. Riding on the right is good!
Pay particular attention when you're turning out of junctions, petrol stations, going round roundabouts and driving along on quiet roads as it's easy to forget. And watch out for nutter French drivers. Awesome roads, and awesome food, you'll love it.
