the cans would look better if they were shortened by at least 3-4 inches...they stick out way too much at the moment...

get someone to photshop it ..you may change your mind Tim:dunno

Wots all this lads buisness, I thought you were looking for something a bit newer?:)

Hi kelly

I am really finding it dificult finding an RSV here................I got offered a 2004 Factory yesterday but for 7600 euros FFS.

Looked at this one tonight and it was frankly............*****.

The hunt continues:rant:rant

Tim don't rush into anything I no its a nightmare being without a bike but try and hold out till that perfect bike comes along.:)

Too bad you are on the wrong side of the Atlantic. There's a mint '06 here for $7500 Cdn which is a little over 5000 euros.

What is that in real money?

Is it too much assle to import one from the uk?

I bet it is, if memory serves it has to be restricted to 107bhp then reregistering it in france, assume head light will need changing :dunno i bet by the time your done it wont be worth it

Hell, those RSVR are expensive in France Areessmille. They're about 2000 to 2500 Euros cheaper here in the UK. It might be worth investigating how the restriction is done however, is it ECU or is it simply a throttle stop. Are the headlamps not a straight beam pattern?

How about doing what my mate Nigel does, buy a British bike insure it here, take it back to France. Seemples.

He just pops over when needed to MOT it. Two TDM's and an SV1000s so far I think. As far as I remember his van may be British regd as well, although I think his wifes car is a French one.

Just a thought.

Hi ian

Yeah thought of that aswell but i would need to be living here for less than 90 days i order for it to work but i live here permantly

Tim, I've emailed my mate to ask how he manages with his bikes, don't know how long it will take to get an answer but I'll let you know when (if) he replies.

i have to agree with ian g mate, thats a lot of your hard earned for a standard spec mille.... there must be a way around re-regestering and restrictions laws...you'll save a packet!
good luck! :thumbup
