After successfully getting the cold starting prob sorted (crikey) my bike started fouling the rear cylinder plugs.
I commute on the motorway 30 min each way every day. Maybe I am not giving her too much stick, but can anyone tell me why the rear plugs are fouling and not the front? I lose a cylinder and need to replace the plugs every now and then. 3 times now, and after a good service the guys didn't find anyting to explain it. I reckon it looks like oil foulking, they reckon fuel (too rich) and have fitted hotter plugs. Time will tell, but she burns no oil and compression fine. The mechanic did mention the vacuum slipper clutch can leak letting oil into the rear cylinder but that sounds a long shot.
The airbox has a trace of oil, but nothing abnormal for a T and I make sure I don't overfill. '04 tuono R (factory or whatever they called this one).
Any ideas?
I carry a spare plug with me now in case I get stranded with a single cylinder bike (which sounds like crap by the way!). T certainly not happy on one cylinder.
