Got my Bike back yeaterday. took her out for a spin, smiling all the way.
forks sorted and no more struggling to get it into nuetral.
fork seals done £140 all in
warning triangle and efi sign = atmospheric pressure switch gone (on order)
clutch fluid changed - clutch fantastic now

chain appears to catch a little on exhaust especially on left handers, but that could just be me...

bike is blooming lovely

pictures to follow

Great stuff.....!!!

Get pics up!!!

Yeah, I had my fork seals and head bearings done at the last MoT and I couldn't believe how much they transformed the bikes handling back to what it used to be.

As far as I'm aware, the fork seals in the Ohlins units have a tendancy to *pop* quite regularly, mate who has an Edwards rep is forever replacing his.

got her sunday - she's an x cat d write off cos off a slight dent in swing arm
i've got a new one going on in a few weeks for £400
i paid £3800
new seat cowl coming rather than repair for £50
so she'll be as new for £4250
now thats a lot of bike for not a lot of money

Great result there!!!

I paid £4k for my 2000 RSV 4 years ago!!!

Any mods planned?.

Is this yer first big V-Twin?.

Look through the posts here on the forums, there are lots of folk willing to assist in any questions you have.

Great place this, for RSV owners.

think i might of finished the seals off myself
wasn't paying attention, hit a big speed ramp at about 50mph so they were due anyhow

gonna get all fluids done and next fettle the back brake as its useless and i know i only use it in the wet, but i like to know its ther if i need it.

don't think i'm even gonna bother with pipes as these sound great

still find it difficult to judge speed against engine sound, unlike my R1's... i knew exactly how fast i was going

does anyone do a gear indicator with loom for rsv? don't wanna have to chop wires plug n play please?

Good result mate, problems solved without having to sell your soul!! Enjoy the riding now :thumbup
