How much better performance will these do on a standard motor , say to a pair of 54's :dunno
 
54 is a bored 51 and will doe great on a smal valve engine. (up to 00)
57 works great on the later models.
You can expect around 5 hp over the complete rev range.
The diference between a 54 and a 57 in performance gain I would not know.
 
I would fit some 57's if I hadn't had my Tuono mapped already! :roll

The general thought is that 57 would be overkill for a small valve engine.
54 would be sufficient.
But I have seen remarkable results on falco's with a 57mm.
These have small valves.
