Hi guys can anybody sell me , or loan /hire a flywheel puller for the aprilia rsv 1000 rotax engine , I'm in Northamptonshire , have tried all the bolt and fastner outlets but no one stocks an m22 x 1.5 bolts , phoned an Aprilia dealer not only do they want £50 !!! but also they say up too 14 days wait !!!

would like to know what puller fits also as it should be a common one ?

ill be having a look at the sprag soon and i tend to try and make a tool up as needed as all the pullers tools etc i already have seldom fit lol

dont ya just love it when the make tools specific for A bike and not loads
 
Well went to work got a Volvo 42 tonne wheel stud ( m22 x 1.5 ) , ground some edges on it ( for a spanner to fit ) , screwed it in , heated up the flywheel , tightened up the stud "aka " puller , and BANG !! , fortunatly my right foot broke its fall lol !!!!
All done and dusted now , bring on the next one I'm ready !!!

well he had 2 and i have ordered the other so one left (same thread so should be ok) a puller is a puller ex thread goes into the outer thread and the inner bolt pushes it off :thumbup

if you buy it and it dont fit ive been hacked for this thread:devious
