I have managed to get some falco exhausts for my rsv. There is a slight flat spot on the rear section. Will this affect performance? It is only used for the road and not racing.

Sorry I don't have a pic yet.

I am also looking for some link pipes for it. Can I use different ones for a higher sitting can? (a bit like the leo vince link pipes http://rsvzone.com/forums/showthread.php?18716-Leo-Vince-High-Level-Can )

think the flat spot may be there as standard to clear the stand..google is your best friend have a look

there are high level link pipes available you'll just have to chase round a few companies

no worries

Aprilia actually made falco high levels for their streetfighter kit

Have modified a set of falco headers onto my 03R then I made up the link pipe to suit a set of 09 RSVR Leo Vince TI SBK Twin mufflers .. not a fan of high level mufflers but thats a personal thing tho ..

I've just finished putting a falco system on my '01 RSV-R, the flat spot is to help clear the side stand but still mine didn't clear it. I managed to get some CNC aluminium spacers off ebay to put behind the side stand bolts to bring it out a bit and then drilled and tapped a hole in the side stand base plate to act as a stopper. Operates perfectly now. Also, the rear header on the RSV lines up and matches the falco collector box so no need to take it off. I've put some akrapovic cans off the 'Edwards' SBK system onto mine and had the link pipes modified to fit by 'Zorstec' for £70. Need any help or pics then give us a shout. Liam:thumbup
