Fitting old style light switch

Greetings All.
Just posting in the new members area and already need to ask for help!

Fairly familiar with the RSVs as I have had a couple of RSV Mille bikes and now on my first Tuono - superb bike and luvin the higher bars!

My Tuono is a Gen 1 2004 model.

On my last RSV Mille (2003) I fitted an early light switch so I could turn the lights off when starting the bike. Fitting the early switch was simple plug and play as they use the same connector and wiring.

Seems something is slightly different on the Tuono. The old style switch fits fine, but the parking light (and rear lights) stay on. Looking at the diagram the yellow wire from the parking light does not run through to the switch connector, so not controlled by the switch. It appears to link into the system somewhere else?!

Has anyone fitted an old style light switch to a Tuono and was it simple plug and play or did you have to modify the wiring and if so, how?
Thanks,
Gareth

There was,...but it did'nt go anywhere because at the last post he had'nt fitted the switch yet.

I do know that the early light switches work and the later ones dont. The early switches had the horn/indicator buttons the opposite way round.
Of course its possible to wire the side/tail lights into the switch.I'm not too familier with the Gen1 wiring loom,so I cant help there.

Hi, I bought my T with a switch from a Falco fitted where the parking light & rear lights are on all the time.
As I didn't fit it I can't comment on how it was done.
