Had a very pleasant afternoon yesterday fitting my new Arrow cans. After removing the Leo's,I did a quick comparison in weight v. the std can.Well the Leo can must have been 2 -2 1/2kg lighter than the std, while the titanium Arrow had to be another 1/2kg lighter still. So that's about a 6kg weight saving in total.Cant be bad.

The Arrows fit to the downpipes differantly to the Leo's and std cans. They slip over and locate on the tab on the underside of the pipe. The Arrows fit in a similar way to older aircooled Dukes. They have a leading pipe that goes inside the downpipe, then a larger outer that slips over. And boy were they a tight fit.So tight,I got the Dremel out and gently ground the downpipes out a little so I could push the cans fully home. After that its a fairly simple job of fitting the carbon strap to the hanger and the little carbon healguard. The guard comes with two sets of washers, one heatproof fibre and one plastic,.....still not sure if I have them the right way round.

Last job was remove the bloody great circlip and take out the baffles.Time to fire up the beast,......wow,what a beautiful noise. Not as harsh as the Leo's,...a deeper sound, but just as loud. You can tell I'm chuffed to bits with them.

I'm looking for that deeper rumble and you seem to have hit on it. That's what I like aboot the Akkies. Not as raspy as some, nice deep growl. Off tae look at th' Arrows on their website.
I'm working our bike show as a Hyosung rep this year (fourth year for it) and maybe I'll be able to get a deal on the Arrows for my birthday as that's the first day of the bike show. It ain't a patch on the NEC show though...

Keith, luverly set of pipes, you wouldn't have a part number/model name, i'm truly impressed and might look into these
