hi lads, first thread on here , had a couple of previous bikes last one being a cb1300 but couldn't get away with the sitty up position, just bought an 02 mille a month ago and love it,

struggling to get my knee down, even though ive scrubbed of the chicken strips, wore kid who is behind me says im not out the seat enough, have however managed to get the wheel of the deck but only in first and not for long

power commander and akrapovic fitted , sounds nice, bit lumpy compaired to the cb, but who cares

never been in to yellow bikes but theres just something about the look of the mille

im from the north east of england area, and have spotted a few members local to me already,

cheers:thumbup

Welcome mate - Milles are particfularly tall so you have to work a bit to get yout knee down - I've only managed it on track but there's nutters on here who do. Hanging off a long way helps.
By wheel of the deck I assume you mean wheelies - check your gearing as they come overgeared as standard so you might want to reduce it - do a search on here for gearing.

thanks for the welcome, and your right i thought they were a little taller than your r1 and the like, dont think you would manage it with one cheek in the seat, but im not worried ,
cheers:thumbup

Oh yeah, standard one cheek on the seat (I brace me arse against the seat hump), outside knee locked on the tank, leg canted outward with sole on peg, head to side of screen, no problem. Much easier on track than the road though.

Bracing arse cheeks....:devious

Now a brace of Duck is more like it.:lol

and a longer leg may also help:biggrin, i have a trip coming up in the first week of july with a few others over to germany and we will be giving the nuremberg ring a go, may give it a go on there, mind you looking at some of the you tube vids it does'nt look the safest place, with everything from bikes to caravans on there:biggrin
