So the rain finally stopped yesterday and me and another mate on a tuono went for a quick blast to High Beach.

After getting over the initial cold and at how tall the bike first felt - I can honestly say this is the first bike that I have come home grinning - and with all the crap I have been through lately, it was a welcome change to my face!

Thank you Aprilia for making me feel like a kid again x

My Arai is a bit too tight round me chubby sheeks to allow me to smile. Seems a bit tighter around that area than the AGV but nicer fit around me head.

I had a nirverna moment last year - I was blasting down the A483 from newton to llandridod on a warm sunny Sunday afternoon - barely a car on the road - the tarmac was hot - my tyres were hot - I was cool (naturally - I was riding the T) - everything clicked & I was riding down the road laughing :lol in my helmet - I glanced down at the clocks, 100mph on the speedo big sweeping bend coming up - perfect line - knee down - fast exit, I thought to myself that I had never felt this good on any jap multi ive owned - I did a Rossi & patted the the tank when I got to the Crossgates roundabout & thought to myself this is by far the best bike I have ever had - moral of the story the T rules :yes and i have found biking nirverna

I thought so. All good here mate thanks. How's bout you Richie boy?

Sure did. Erm, I’d love to tell you how great it is but can't as done all of about 3 miles since picking it up in January. Insurance & tax now sorted, battery arriving Thursday & I’m off out, sun, rain, snow, I don’t give a fook. Will let you know how they compare but I’m sure someone will be along with a comparison for you soon enough!

What you looking for? Gen1, Gen2, standard or factory? Like with all bikes, I looked at loads of these & it can be a minefield. The earlier Gen2's had clock problems (misting up & cracked glass) so many were replaced under warranty. Do you homework as the mileage & history may to stack up. Nearly bought a clean looking 07 plate with 5000 advertised miles. History & paper work seemed ok. Rang the last known dealer to service it as wasn't stamped & turns out it had new clocks at 20,000 miles 2 years ago. Didn't look at the Gen1 so can't help there.

Look up Hector as he had a very tidy Gen2 for sale at a good price

I am keeping hold as there is not much better , maybe the Speed Triple but I have a street triple . I think they are a similar almost alround twin of each other but I don`t have to spend if I keep the "T". I`ve just bought new tyres for the "T"
