FINALLY!!!!. Got out for a short run for the first time this year. Nipped up to Knockhill to see what was doing. Good to get out again, I had a grin on my face a mile wide from start to finish. I had honestly forgotten just how fast this thing is. :devious

Apologies for cruddy pics from iPhone.

I know, I just liked the look of the Akra Aprilia decals!!. System sounds superb, I never run it with the baffles in ( keep them under the pillion seat in case plod stops me and goes off on a rant :devious ). The sound is addictive, especially when the throttle is shut off on the over run. Oh and it's certainly safer - folk hear me from miles away. Only downside is not being able to use it to go to work when the fancy takes me as I wouldn't subject my neighbours to the noise at 7:00am. Considerate sort, me.

is there such a thing as neighbour consideration lol didnt realise i leave 5am most mornings all year round on my ape and she not what you would call muffled

Went for my first proper ride the other day (ie first one I bother putting all the clobber on and leave with intent). first few rusty kneedowns of the year. Quickly established that the sc0 sc1 tires i`v been wobbling around on all winter have turned to a strange mushy consistancy and shall need changing lol

Know what you mean, I leave my place at 02:30 for a 3am start. Have to push the bike to the end of the road as I keep waking the neighbours up :biggrin

I found that my wobbly bike was ENTIRELY down to my rustyness, TBH!! Friday was my first outing - MOT then some miles. I was hungover and largely rubbish, ponderous and not very good positionally on the road! However, a coupla of hundred miles later over the weekend, and definately close to where I left off :)
