You should be OK for that sort of period. I used to keep mine in the back garden in summer before I sorted my Garage, I used a 2.5m extension lead on the optimate output lead and charged it that way.

You could probably use a couple & tape up (or heat shrink) the joint

when it started and it was warm..i used the volt meter thingy on the dash and at 1k revs it said 13.6, and at 4k revs it said 13.2.

not sure if that is about right or not.
