Hi everyone, this is my first post on here, I got myselfe a 2003 Fighter about 3 months ago and I love it, its my first V Twin. I am going to TT next year, and I think this bike will be the perfect machine for the trip. Any other Tuono riders goin, or been. Daz.:thumbup

Good choice on steed.....
Hoping to go to the TT next year, seems like getting a ferry ticket is like rocking horse sh*t - unless you want to go for two weeks !

:(

You need to be contacting the ticket office the day after the TT payment expires. There are always those that book in advance and then find they cant go.

Hey, you need to book quickly, I was on the phone the day ferry booking opened. They have you by the b*llocks though, you leave a deposit but you dont know what the final cost will be...I turned 40 last january and the TT trip is my present to myself..The Mrs will get over it..

Wow, I will get the TT out of the way before I hit her with next plan, Assen is possibly on the cards for 2013..Get in..

Last I did the coast to coast (C2C) in 3 days (push bike)
This year I did the C2C, different route though plus Assen on the T
Next year Coast & castles cycle ride (Edinburgh to Durham), Assen plus Manx TT.
Not been to the TT before, apparantly the Manx is more laid abck with loads of classics & modern stuff.

As I am getting older I seem to be getting more adventures.

I cant wait till I retire.

Fit man Olaf doing the C2C, I do seaburn to shields and I'm goosed.
Went to the TT in 76 on an old Yamaha YR5. Loved it.

ive been every year since 04..mostly on a gsxr thou. next year will be the first on the tuono.... the rush you get opening the taps when you leave the villages into the unrestricted roads is unbelieveable. There are some quick boys out there and my advice would be leave any bike with a manx plate well alone, i always do one circuit of the island before i go banzai to dial in. trust me when you are in the 130-140mph consistently it is bloody tiring and the yellow paint on the roads show where others havent had the nouse to back off. respect the roads and you will be fine. it will give you a real respect for the boys that race it. stop by for a pint in the Rosemount pub in Douglas, the landlady is called sharon..... crfacking bunch of regulars in there....

a handy tip for those interested in going to the isle of man. In the beggining of july there is a race called the southern 100. its on the billown circuit in the south of the island. there are nowhere near the visitors to the island and the roads are pratically empty. you get the best of the roads and get close and personal to the racers. you can actually walk up to them in the open paddock and chew the fat...... imagine that in moto gp!! and crossing is cheaper as well.....
