I've tried going from 2nd down and that dont work either !!!!!!! the only time it will sometimes go in is if I am rolling and then it's only on rare occasions, or if I hold the revs at around 5000 ! which must be shaking the plates apart a bit more possibly?
just nudge it forward an inch when you tap it down matey, only thing that works for me on the 02
