Went for one of these in the end. New out made by Pipewerx just with a different end cap (therefore no 'X' Bay!).

They had a good review in Ride mag, and thought I would be a bit different.

So no longer will I be the only T with a standard bazooka :thumbup

Will post pics when I receive & fit it.

Wouldn't supply any shorter though as they couldn't then say it was road legal - I went for their SL (Street legal, with removable baffle).

Bay - No, I'll have just have to twist the throttle more to make that happen after my discovery on Saturday that I don't seem to use full throttle at all :thumbup

Grin - I'm guessing it sounds very similar to their Pipewerx cans, it appears the only difference is the end cap. They said it was too loud to shorten any further, so that sounds promising ;)

Oh, and I'm completely crap with the spanners so is swapping can & link pipe easy peasy even for me?

Bay is this your one - black round?:

If so, yes didn't realise how similar they were!

On a serious note. Slip off exhausts are mate. Only one bolt to the rear footrest to undo. Make sure the Exhaust hanger is the right way around so as the swing arm doesn't hit the exhaust when going over bumps.

It does has a removeable baffle....road legal? don't know and to be honest don't really care...taxed, tested and insured....they can go catch some proper criminals:kicknuts:lol

I wanted a road legal one, but have to say that SP can looks fab :thumbup

just checked their website and it says they are road legal with the baffle inserted, will report in on build quality and sound tomorrow with a bit of luck:thumbup

Well if it ain't road legal then that invalidates your insurance and if u hurt anyone you'll be paying for the rest of your life. Best find out I'd say. Don't take for granted ure insured

Does that mean that all exhausts with the removable baffles taken out invalidate insurance then?

Must admit I was going to run without apart from MOT.

Ok bit confused here. Mine has a road legal stamp, but perhaps is not road legal with the baffle removed?

So I don't use the baffle, get involved in a nasty accident involving a pedestrian. Some savvy insurance dude notices it has no baffle and I'm in the cack? Or do they see the road legal stamp and baffle or no baffle it's still ok??
