........who cares. There will always be someone quicker, and even if you're seriously quick you only need to be on the road at the same time as Chris Walker to know it's true :biggrin
Seriously though, take your time, & ride your way. I'm sure you will, and I appreciate how easy it is to be sucked into the whole race game thing on the road, but in the end does it really matter how fast you go :dunno
Good to hear you're enjoying the fruits of your labour - and who knows, maybe the new colour scheme will speed the bike up :biggrin:thumbup

Cheers

Rene

Im with Renevator on that one mate, theres always a better rider out there, bloke on an R1 destroyed me the other week down some back roads, he was quick and as smooth as fcuk, no shame in staying in ya comfort zone fella :thumbup

tis true,my has an 07 r1 now,but even on his old 99 r1,he'd wipe the floor with everyone on the very latest blades and gixers,he's just plain crazy and not being beat is all he worrys about, not crashing,or getting pulled out on or getting banned for speeding ect.
he's fast and smooth as fook, but heading for a crash or sure and doesnt quite seem to get what being lucky to own a bike is all about and certainly doesnt get the whole "belonging to the biking community" is all about, which is a big part of it all for me.:jack

What engine do them MV agusta's have in em, are they an IL4...:dunno

The F4 engine is a liquid cooled inline four cylinder (4 stroke) with two overhead camshafts (DOHC), 16 radial valves, electronic multipoint injection, induction discharge electronic ignition and following capacity variants: 749.5, 998 and 1,078 cc. The engine was derived from the 1990-1992 Ferrari Formula One engine. Early in the design process Ferrari engineers assisted in the development of the engine. MV (Cagiva at the time) quickly deviated from the Ferrari design, but they kept one important feature, the radial valves. The F4 engine is unique in the sense that it is the only radial valved motorcycle engine currently in production.

I knew this off the top of me heed ^^
