Faulty speedo

Hi all, I have been on my bike today to the Manchester motorcycle show, but my speedo kept reading 0 mph to anything upto 190 mph randomly.

Any ideas please?

sounds like the rear wheel sensor is playing up ( halls effect sensor ) check the wiring for it as well

+1 on that , if the sensor is the same as a gen 1 , they are about 60 squid and 10 mins to sort out .

Eddie, mine is an 06, will this fit? I have only had it two months, still learning about the various models.

Awaiting a new sensor, still within 3 month warranty. The dealer has ordered one. Just waiting for the go ahead to have it fitted.

Sorted, new sensor from an RSV4 fitted. Same sensor. Fitted in 20 mins.
