Fault diagnosis on dash?

shes sorted mate.good as new.
neutral light is back to normal, the wire was trapped behind the front sprocket cover, and as for the clutch...
some previous ***** had taken the slave master cylinder out at some oint and put a wrong bolt back in it,it was to long thus reventing it to seal and causing a leak of clutch fluid and letting air into the system ffs.
cut the bolt down, put it all back together, fresh clutch fluid in and thoroughly bled the clutch and all is perfect.....for now.lol
as i said, you just never know what some previous numpty has fooked up/bodged.gradualy putting everything right again bit by bit.

Thought it had been sorted, got all the way to Bournemouth from mine (40 miles) and it conked out again, just loses all power on the twist of the throttle. Then again when I got closer to home, so I don't think it's a loose connection as surely it would happen more frequently.

The ECU flashes, turn it off as if to re-set the system and then right as rain again, strange. Anyway, gonna phone the shop again that supposed to have fixed it and see what they can do cause I've ran out of ideas now.

sorry to hear that mate, you can live with these niggles, but it drives you to despair when the fault cant be found doesnt it,or your without your bike for ages supposedly while its fixed, then set off and the fukr does it again!!
i feel gutted for you mate.hope they can get to the bottom of it this time.

Didn't take me long to moan again!! It's cutting out again, no idea what it could be, gonna phone the shop that "fixed it" and tell them i want all the wiring under the seat and the right side panel near the seat done cause it's a bit untidy and see what that does, i'm sure it's a connection somewhere. Only had it a month and really love it, but, safety first and it's constantly in my mind when i'm riding that it'll conk out again and it's affecting my enjoyment of simply riding. Watch this space, might sell it.

52 plate, 6500 miles mille, oz wheels, ohlins etc etc. Would be looking for around 3800 mark give or take 50 quid.

lol,£50,ill take it for that, worth it for the o.z wheels!
hang in there mate, only had mine a few months and theres been plenty of iritation to sort out,but i just know its worth it,cos i fukn luv the bike, the sound, the handling, the looks ect.

you can go and buy another bike and end up with loadsa more problems to sort out,you always get em unless you buy brand new,and even then **** goes wrong.

Not sure if i'm on the right track, but it sounds a little like a throttle position indicator getting out of whack with what the ECU expects to see.?? Only a thought. As you say whan you stop restart, the unit resets itself. Its an odd one awright ol mate. :confused
