Hell Ozzie, so sorry to hear that. My worst nightmare - well, one of 'em.

However, don't be a stranger. you don't have to be a rider to stay on here.

So sorry to hear, hope you can keep the pain manageable.
Good luck and don't be a stranger.

**** that. Physicians ALWAYS have a worst case scenario in mind when they give you that information. Listen to your own body and go with that. I've been told that one more good off and the vertabrae in my neck will give and I'm either dead or done moving from the neck down. So, I choose to continue with the one thing that makes me happier than anything else in the world. And that includes track days!! *grin*

The advice that you should get a second opinion is well founded. Speak to a specialist. Speak to a couple of them. And look into pain management if that is an issue. Ibuprofen, Aleve, or other NSAIDS are our friend. I know. With as much steel in me and some rheumatoid arthritis in some joints... as well as the C2-4 vertebrae I use NSAIDS and not the alternative (dilaudid, morphine, or oxycodone... BADNESS!!!).

Don't give up without a fight.
