factory millie dies after a while but doesnt cut out then goes again :-/

hi,my factory 04 millie got a good soaking last year one day in the great scottish weather!since then it sometimes dies when your slowing down ,usually when you slow right down and get on the gas, a red triangle comes on the dash and it doesnt respond to throttle properly,after you let it idle and try to rev it it seams to sort itself out and wer away again,not sure if the soaking is anything to do with it or is it just coincidence,can any one help or had anything like this before,thanks,darren.

Check the side stand switch , best bypass it then you know that isn't the course to start with .. then work from there ..

Possibly fuel starvation. Check your fuel tank breather. Go for a short ride and stop, open your filler lid and listen to see if you can hear a hissing/sucking noise. Then there's kinks in fuel delivery lines and of course take a peek in the tank to see if it looks particularly dirty.
