Why are the 05 Factory end cans sooooooooooooooo expensive, looking on ebay a single Arrow or Akra goes for £150-£200 max but the Aprillia ones are upwards of £500, what gives

Apart from Akra or Arrow, and Tigcraft, has anyone used Yoshi or Blueflame :O

yoshi are good but a bit on the heavy side, bluflames dont always fit well, fuel seem good.but akras and arrows are popular for good reason.Well made with good tuning potential and v light.

Not too fussed about the tuning part, I gave up an R1 to go back to my 130bhp comfort zone, its the sound I am craving, those fuels look a bit budget.
I guess you get what you pay for in life

Agreed-my lowley 02 only has 123bhp..and thats with tuning, but to be honest the weight saving alone is worth the akras and arrows. The tigs are really loud(105db) and thats before the packing wears out:eek:. akra are really quick to supply repack kits(if you doloadsa miles or track days) I get mine in a day or two from ordering..thats service.
The fuel cans looka bit on the cheap side I agree. Whatever you do dont get carbon, theyll fade in sunlight and fall apart with those power pulses!!

I know, I used to own a TL, carbon is a definate no no.
Have you heard any standards that have been gutted :O

eh?, did you say something?, let me turn me hearing aid on.
..no I havent, but they must be loud if they have been gutted, cant do much for the fueling tho!, prolly a nice motogp sound tho!
barp barp

It was just a cheap option, can't bring myself to splashing out £600 for something just for the sound

mightaswell butcher your own cans then, but what will you do come mot time?
ps- I gotta a single akra going cheap cheap(or rather barp barp!)
If you check on the other forums I'm sure there were some posts RE, gutting oe cans
cheers CK

I run fuel cans on mine at £200 a pair brand new you cant go wrong ,bloody loud too ,i used to own a R1 with harris high level but this is a different beast
you eill not be dissapointed:thumbup

its from the single system, oval ti with ti link, recently repacked, a few marks nowt to worry about(does need can strap tho)

Heard good things about Fuel Exhausts but a lot of negativity towards the quality of the newer Blue Flame stuff.....

I'd be tempted by the Fuel cans in that price band.

If you can, try to find a set of the Aprilia Titanium race cans.

They look and sound nice - It was what I was going to get until I managed to get a set of Tigs

:thumbup I have considered those too, are they lighter than stock too
I Have the Aprilia race, yeah they are far lighter than original, loud but not too loud, good quality and look standard(apart from "for race use only" stamped on em) would recommend...:thumbup
