Hi guys.
When I installed, in my V4 the complete exhaust system by akrapovic, necessarily I remove the linkage levers for gas transmission & gas return, but the installer did not put off the function the exhaust valve actuator.
Now when you turn the key and until the engine comes to life, there is an extended function of the sensor-(looking for exhaust gas flow).
Until now, that cost me nothing in issues & in any field but I wonder if this continued operation cause a problem in the future.
Any advise?

if you have a full exhaust I assume that you also have the race ecu?

If you do have the race ecu, just unplug the exhaust valve servo. You won't get any error codes.

You are right RIZLA....I have the race ecu, but the guy in Aprilia service told me that is not necessary to unplug the valve. I think your way(obvious) is the right and that I must to do.
.....thanks

you will have to tell the ecu that the servo is disabled, other wise it will throw a fault!

Can I do something by myself 4vr ? or I need the computer of aprilia service?

No it won't

The race ecu recognises the servo if it is plugged in, but does not throw a fault when you unplug it.

I know as I have done it.

You don't need to do anything other than unplug the servo and secure the plug out of the way of the exhaust etc with a cable tie.

There will be no fault codes thrown.
