Exhaust Question

Got a bit of a project going on with my 2005 RSV factory and was considering changing to a single side exhaust system, Does anyone know if the headers off a Gen1 fit a Gen2 and what disadvantages this may have.

Anything is possible , have put Gen2 onto Gen1 bikes but not the other way ... Most change to Twin systems as this is the best over all perform gain to a single Gen 1 motor apart from making a twin link single system .. The Gen 2 have a O2 sensor also which the Gen 1 don't

I'm hoping to put a single austin racing can on once the big bore is complete but trying to find a way to do it.

The ends of the exhaust that bolt to the engine are very different also!

Cut off the 3 hole and weld on the 4 hole flanges
