Thanks to the Aprilia Performance for supplying the necessary for the Evo conversion for my Gen2 air box. Now fitted and appears to be sealing OK but there is a cosmetic problem i.e.: the bottom of the tank is now sitting-up more and the side of the tank is not fully covered by the side panels. This doesn't look great. Has anyone found a way to cover this gap? Thanks in advance.

The evo kit shouldn't have any effect on how the tank fits, are you sure you have fitted everything back correct?

Thanks Tash. I have had another look and it wasn't how I remembered it from my last ride.
With the side panels on there is no unsightly gap as they cover any that there is. It's more that the side panel fit is not great and the gap is actually between the side panel and the cutout that it sits in on the side of the tank. Looks like the panels are slightly bowed giving a cm. or so gap. Some double-sided pads should sort it out. Thanks again and sorry to have wasted your time. False memory!

Could be a swollen tank this can be a common issue with the increasing use of ethanol in fuel and use of plastic tanks
