After a really **** couple of weeks I went out and performed some serial RSV abuse tonight and managed to perfect the art of full throttle clutchless upshifts ............................mind you it was hard finding the correct length of "private road" to perfect this new skill :devious

it pi55ed it down all fook1ng day here!!!! got some knee down (first time) fun in tho last night with a few power wheelies!

p.s. how do you clutch em up on these beasts?

Dont do wheelies or knee down...........................short legs and fat body with low mass centralisation = disaster :pirate

only just getting the hang of clutchless upshifts on the Mille. gearbox is not quite as smooth as some I've had!!

Some are better than others, mine is better than my old R1 and that was better than my old SP1

When the clutch slave cylinder blew it's seal on my SV1000s halfway thru' France I had to learn the art of clutchless shifting right smartish.

I have to say it has been one of my motorcycling high points howling into French roundabouts dropping down the gears clutchlessly then nailing it out the other side.

With practice it's easier going down the box than up on the Suz if you get the revs just right.

I think their 'Back Torque Limiting Device' is better than the Apes pneumatic one as I've never managed to get the same effortless changes on the Mille.

Perhaps it will be better after a set up ,service & oil change.

always shifted clutchless after second on all my bikes - (speed permitting) - slow speed and clutchless doesnt feel smooth just notchy -from the blade to rsv seems no different once throttle pinned back, never shifted down clutchless tho as always used the clutch to slip on all my bikes - gives better control all round

do it when on a blast sometimes very smooth and no jerking hardly any throttle movement .smoother than my old slingshot and they were known for good gearbox
