hi i have a 99 aprilia rsv mille with 38000 miles just wondering should i use fully or part synthetic oil ???

part. fully synthwetic tends to make the clutch slip

semi-synth.

i tried fully synth didnt get clutch slip but did get sticky gear changes

15-50 mobil is good as it comes in 5 litre packs everything else comes in 4 litres and the mille on an oil change needs more than 4 litres

I like the semi-synth and have never used the full. If I like it, why bother? I do 10w-40 semi in freezing weather.

I'm running full synth t4 silkoline on my first oil change this year and no issues at all with the clutch. Gear changes actually feel smoother. I have a 01' with about 19k on it.
I'm only running this oil because i got a good deal on it, otherwise I would just use a blend. Mobil 1 usually. 15w50 if you can find it.

Fully synth should be OK as long as you stick to 15w-40.....only time i've heard of clutch issues was when people used car oil which has built in friction reducers...not good for clutches relying on friction.....but that was donkey's ago on old old bikes
