Lots of threads to do with this. I asked my manufacturer-approved mech, 10w-40 blend (semi-synthetic) is okay, just change back when the heat comes. I chose Castrol ActEvo.
My 2007 book says to use 15W-50 semi-synthetic (AGIP).
Easier starting and no oil consumption noticed.

when i got my falco it had 10-40 semi rock oil in it, at my first service changed to 15-50 semi sport 4 got clutch slip and a heavy gear box so changed to 10-40 semi sport 4 and cleaned plates all fine now so i would stick with same oil hope this helps
