I have had a problem since buying my new T in that when the ignition is turned on with the side stand down the diagnostic warning light comes on that signifies low voltage to the starter. I have now determined that when you turn on the ignition with the side stand up the error does not show. Does any wise sou have any real clue as to what the problem is. I have written to the dealer I bought the bike from asking them to take up the issue with Aprillia but as yet have not heard back from them. I also took the advise of sacrificial cockeral, Virgins, chanting etc etc but that didn't sem to work however there was no full moon at the time. Griff do you have a clue. Tony at Moto Corse in Wrexham thought you'd be the best person to ask. If you read this message. :banghead

It's not the yellow sidestand down warning light you'r looking at is it ?

No. Definately not, it's definately the red general hazard warning light & "SERVICE" indicator. Diagnostics codes refer to low starter voltage. Matter has been taken in hand with dealership without satisfactory result. I have written again to them today but so far have been less than impressed with the attention they have given me. They also informed me that they are dropping their Aprilia dealership because of the poor service they receive from Aprilia themselves. where that leaves me I am unsure there is another dealer in Denbigh at A&D Mortorcycles I can go to if I have no luck but I'd prefer to get sorted where I bought the bike unless there is a simple fiz I can take care of myself.
