I've got a engine ready to be made into a tabletho the mrs won't let it in the house ever :-(
I've an ex Mrs I'd like to see made into a table. Cost me more than a second hand engine. :devious
What a great thread! In 6 hours you've gone from dispair, to finding a low mileage replacement engine, 2 offers to help you fit it, and possibly selling your knackered engine too! Fantastic. I have to ask though, how on earth can that've happened to a Rotax twin? The one's i've had have run and run and felt unburstable. I never heard of a major blow up before.

I know what you mean I can't understand it either to be honest. I have done 6000 miles with the engine you would expect it to last a lot longer than that. At the moment they think its the small end bearing that has failed and not sure what else lurks inside??. w00dzy is going to let me have a look at it when he strips the engine down.. So we will see. Thanks to Mark I have light at the end of the tunnel and hopefully I will have my bike back within the next few weeks.

Not the first time won't be the last ,seem to be more on af1 forum with this issue but it has happened to guys in the uk
