Hello,

Im picking up my new Tuono next week all being well, and having done a lot of research on the bike am amazed at the levels of electronic control it has.

With 8 way traction, 3 riding modes, 3 way anti-wheelie, and 3 way ABS, what do you guys actually set yours too in the main.

I anticipate, reasonable levels of fast road riding, and the odd track day, so where would be a good place to start?

Gavin.

I have mine in T mode.

Anti wheelie off.

Traction control set at 3.

If I were you I would start with the wheelie control on 2

Traction control on 6

And Sport mode.

The reason for those recommendations is because you will get to feel the systems working so that it doesn't come as a shock to you and also throttle response isn't as harsh in Sport mode as in track mode.

Then gradually wind everything back down until you are comfortable.

i am very similar to rizla .anti wheelie off traction control 4 in track mode.only difference between s and t mode less harsh throttle and drops power slightly in 1st and 2 nd i think lol
cheers

As an aside, why turn the anti wheelie off completely? Isn't it better to have it at least set at it lightest settings?

T/C on 2 .. Wheelie 1 ... Sport mode for me as i like the throttle a bit better .... and a **** at the controls !!!!!!!

Just preference.

I've never had a bike with anti wheelie control and I used it for the first few months, but I don't race and don't feel a need for it to be on.

You are probably right that I could leave it on 1 for example just incase :thumbup

personally i don.t wanna put
to much faith in the anti wheelie cos u can still wheelie the bike with on ..rather be in full control and not hoping the electronics will kick in

Hi,

Well the bike gets picked up tomorrow, Im like a kid at Christmas - and of course TT starts this week!

I forgot to ask, when you first turn the bike on, do the electronics reset to a base setup, or does it remember where you last had it?

Gavin.

Your settings are stored and when you switch back on they will be the same as you left them.

Happy new bike day tomorrow :thumbup

No sleep for you :lol

I use AWC on 2, Sport mode on traction level 6. I switch it to R mode when in town as the throttle is smoother at low speeds.
