I am rebuilding my T after an off which destroyed the whole headlight/dash/front fairing area.

I have fitted a new dash, headlights, indicators, and the 2 relays for the headlights.

The bike now starts and runs but i cant get any front lights or right hand indicator.

during fitting of the new bits i managed to blow the main 30amp fuse.

Can this have blown both headlight relays? if i bridge the relays i can get the lights to come on so the wiring seems to be ok.

Any ideas?

If you bridge the relays and the lights come on does that not mean that the relays are shaged. Are you getting a supply from the switch side to the relay if you are then it's the relay if not then look at the switches. Do the same again and check your getting a supply to them. Jist keep eliminating every thing you can and I'm sure you'll find the fault.

The crash may have damaged part of the wiring loom.Have a look at the loom where the main damage was and make sure there is nothing chafing/squashed or broken. You may need to splice into the outer wiring insulation to check.
